Your Fall Movie Guide is here.
As I’ve mentioned before in this post, I love Fall. It’s my ultimate favorite. There is nothing like ending the day cuddled up on the couch watching a movie. Give me romance, give me the beautiful autumn colors, I want to see fall in the city, fall in the country, I am here for it all.
I have a long list of movies that I watch every Fall season, but below I list my 5 favorites. They will give you all the fall feels.
When Harry Met Sally
With New York’s autumn leaves as the backdrop, this romantic comedy follows Harry and Sally as they navigate years of friendship, witty banter, and unexpected feelings. It’s charming, funny, and full of heart— the perfect film to watch with a blanket and warm drink. (Pumpkin Chai Tea anyone?)
You Got Mail
A charming fall favorite set in the cozy streets of New York. It’s all about two bookstore rivals who unknowingly fall for each other over email. With pumpkin patches, warm sweaters, and golden leaves, this movie is a perfect blend of romance and autumn vibes—guaranteed to make you feel all warm and fuzzy inside! (it has my favorite book quotes ever!)
Practical Magic
This movie follows two witchy sisters who navigate love, life, and a family curse, all while living in a charming old house surrounded by autumn leaves and amazing aunts. With cozy spells, sisterly bonds, and just the right amount of spooky, it’s perfect for curling up with on a crisp fall night! (and can we talk about the romance?!)
Sweet November
A heartwarming, romantic film that’s perfect for fall. It tells the story of a free-spirited woman and a workaholic man who come together for one unforgettable month. Set against the backdrop of cozy November days, this movie is all about love, personal growth, and the beauty of living in the moment. It’s a sweet reminder of how special the fall season can be.
Autumn in New York
A touching fall romance that follows a wealthy, charming restaurateur and a spirited younger woman who has a life-threatening illness. Set against the picturesque backdrop of New York City’s fall foliage, their unexpected love story unfolds amidst autumn’s beauty and poignancy. It’s a heartfelt film that captures the bittersweet essence of both love and the season.
Have you seen any of these? If not, give them a try and let me know what you think. Come share with me over on instagram or drop a comment below! (I’d love that!)
Until next time…
With love,
