Get to know me
I’m Cindy, a WFH girlie with a dream job and more hobbies than I have room for. Cake class? Sign me up. Book club with my friends? Closing my laptop now. The emails can wait.
I used to spend so much time chasing the next thing. Then I realized the life I was working so hard for was already happening, and I wanted to enjoy it. So I’m getting lost in books, booking the trip, making memories with my family, and eating cake for breakfast. But then meeting my personal trainer on Fridays. It’s called balance.
That’s why I started The Soft and Slow Life. I wanted somewhere to show up and share like the good old days. Here’s what I made. Here’s what I read. Here’s something I tried that went absolutely nothing like the instructions.
I miss sharing just because we’re excited about something. Maybe you do, too. I’ll share my things, and I hope you’ll share yours. You don’t have to be good at it, have it all figured out, or make it look pretty first. Hopefully, this little place feels safe enough to be yourself and gives you a little push to do that thing you’ve been wanting to do. Take the class. Start the blog. Show us your crooked cake.
I’m so happy you’re here. Let’s make the internet fun again.

About my blog
The Soft and Slow Club is my little corner of the internet for books, hobbies, everyday life, and whatever else I’m excited to tell you about. Think old-school blogging. A weekend recap, a craft I had to try, a book I have feelings about. Does it all fit into one niche? Probably not. Neither do I.
I’ll share what I’m up to, and I’d love to hear what you’re doing, too. Tell me about your latest project. Recommend a book. Get excited about something very small with me. It counts here.
Mostly, I hope you leave feeling like there’s room for your thing, too. You can start small, be a beginner, and share before it’s perfect. We’re just happy you showed up.
